The Story

As good designers we want to hear people’s stories about their experiences, their environment, and the design problems they have with a particular product. Once we hear someone’s story, we can learn from them and use our understanding of their story to design purposeful and powerful solutions.  We use a design process that engages the users and enables them to share their story.  With the Story of Design, we want to share how to extract the stories that drive problem-solving for designers. We share interviews with designers, design thinkers, and entrepreneurs.  We post how to’s which demonstrate different parts of the design process. We also conduct a series of workshops called Bright Tools that teach our own research and design processes.
